In preparation for the Nuremberg trials, U.S. Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) is assigned to monitor the mental status of Adolf Hitler's second-in-command, Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe). As the Allied powers seek to prosecute the Nazi regime for the unthinkable crimes of the Holocaust, Dr. Kelley finds himself in a psychological lockdown with the former Reichsmarschall.
