Two new movies debuted in the top five at the weekend box office, but they weren't able to dethrone the champion.
Venom: The Last Dance starring Tom Hardy remained in the top spot for the third weekend in a row, taking in an extra $16.2 million for a two-week total of $114.8 million.
The first Christmas movie of the season, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, debuted in second place, taking in $11.1 million.
The horror movie Heretic starring Hugh Grant debuted in third, earning $11 million.
The Wild Robot dropped two spots to fourth place, garnering another $6.7 million for a seven-week total of $130.9 million.
Rounding out the top five was Smile 2, starring Naomi Scott as a global pop sensation, earning an additional $5 million for a four-week total of $60.5 million.
