Just one new movie that opened on Friday made the top five at the weekend box office, but it didn't dethrone the champion.
Venom: The Last Dance starring Tom Hardy remained in the top spot, taking in an extra $26.1 million for a two-week total of $90 million.
The Wild Robot rose to second place this weekend, garnering another $7.6 million for a six-week total of $121.5 million.
Smile 2 starring Naomi Scott as a global pop sensation dropped to third, earning an additional $6.8 million for a three-week total of $52.7 million.
Holding onto fourth place was the thriller Conclave starring Ralph Fiennes as a Catholic Cardinal who is met with road blocks and catastrophes when the Pope dies. It earned another $5.3 million for a two-week total of $15.2 million. Click here to read our review.
Rounding out the top five this weekend was Here starring Tom Hanks and Robin Wright, which debuted with $5 million.
