The Academy announces Oscars dates for 2027 and 2028

Oscar statuettes The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the dates for the next two Oscars, paving the way for one of the most eagerly awaited milestone ceremonies in the awards’ history.

Mark your calendars: the 99th Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 14, 2027, and the 100th Academy Awards will follow on Sunday, March 5, 2028. Both will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood beginning at 4 p.m. local time, reaching audiences across more than 200 territories worldwide.
