Two new movies debuted in the top five this weekend. Find out which ones made the grade -- and which ones stayed.
No surprisingly, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl debuted at the top of the weekend box office, easily grabbing first place with a take of $33 million.
One Battle After Another starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a left-wing terrorist dropped a spot to second place, earning an extra $11.1 million for a two-week total of $42.8 million.
Debuting in third was the MMA-themed movie The Smashing Machine starring Dwayne Johnson as a fighter battling demons. It took in $6 million.
Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie starring Kristen Wiig as an eccentric cat lady dropped two spots to fourth, earning an extra $5.2 million for a two-week total of $21.6 million.
Rounding out the top five was The Conjuring: Last Rites starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, scoring an extra $4 million for a five-week total of $167.8 million.
