Despite several new movies releasing in theaters this weekend, The Super Mario Bros. Movie held onto the top spot for the fourth weekend in a row.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie stayed in the No. 1 spot at the box office, raking in an additional $40 million for a total that brings it just shy of the half billion mark domestically -- $490 million.
The horror movie Evil Dead Rise held onto second place, taking in an extra $12.2 million for a two-week total of $44.4 million.
Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret starring Rachel McAdams and Abby Ryder Fortson debuted in third place with a take of $6.8 million. Click here to read our review.
John Wick: Chapter 4 held steady in fourth place, earning another $5 million for a six-week total of $176.2 million.
Rounding out the top five was the action comedy Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves starring Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez. It earned an additional $4.1 million for a five-week total of $88.2 million. Click here to read our review. ~Alexandra Heilbron
