The Super Mario Bros. Movie debuted at the top of the Easter weekend box office, taking in an incredible $146.4 million for a total of $204.6 million since it hit theaters early on Wednesday.
John Wick: Chapter 4 starring Keanu Reeves, climbed up a spot to second place, earning an additional $14.6 million for a three-week total of $147 million.
Last weekend's top movie, the action comedy Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves starring Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez, slid to third place, earning an additional $14.5 million for a two-week total of $62.3 million. Click here to read our review.
Air, starring Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, debuted in third place with earnings of $14.5 million for a five-day total of $20.2 million.
