Spider-Man: No Way Home continued its winning streak, staying number one at the box office for the fourth weekend in a row. Earning an additional domestic total of $33 million, it now has an incredible four-week total of $668.7 million.
The animated sequel Sing 2 continued to hold onto second place, taking in almost $12 million in its third weekend, bringing its total to $109 million.
The 355, the only new release this weekend, debuted in third place with $4.8 million. The action thriller with an all-star cast was originally scheduled to hit theaters in January 2021, but was pushed forward a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The King’s Man, the prequel to the Kingsman movies, moved down a spot to fourth place, taking in $3.3 million for a total of $25 million in its third weekend at the box office.
Rounding out the top five was the inspirational film American Underdog, starring Zachary Levi as a man who goes from stocking grocery store shelves to playing for the St. Louis Rams. It earned an additional $2.4 million for a three-week total of $18.7 million. ~Alexandra Heilbron
