Sinners gets top Actor Awards prize - see full winners list

The 32nd annual Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, took place on March 1, 2026 at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles, honoring the standout film and television performances of 2025.

The Actor Awards are presented by SAG-AFTRA and, for the third consecutive year, the ceremony streamed live worldwide on Netflix. Kristen Bell returned as host, opening the show with a high-energy musical number that set a playful tone.

On the film side, Michael B. Jordan scored one of the night’s defining victories, taking Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for his dual turn as twins in the vampire thriller Sinners. His win broke the awards-season momentum of One Battle After Another and surprised many pundits who had considered Timothée Chalamet the frontrunner. Jordan appeared visibly moved onstage, calling the recognition “unbelievable” and emphasizing his admiration for the fellow nominees in the category.

One of the emotional high points of the evening came when Harrison Ford received the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, honoring his decades of work and enduring influence on the industry. Introduced with an extended career montage and a warm build-up from the stage, the 83-year-old Ford delivered a speech that balanced self-deprecating humor with genuine gratitude.

Ford joked that receiving a lifetime honor felt like “the midpoint” of his career and that it was “a little weird” to be rewarded for “being alive,” while at the same time stressing how humbled he felt to be recognized in a room full of actively competing nominees. His remarks, oscillating between dry wit and visible emotion, drew one of the night’s longest ovations and underscored how much affection the acting community still holds for him. ~Alexandra Heilbron
