The latest (and final!) trailer for Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has landed on the Internet and fans of the franchise have a lot to be excited about.
It's revealed that Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) is instrumental to the plot. He plays the father of Jyn Erso (Felicity) and is "critical to the development of a super weapon," A.K.A. the Death Star.
The film appears to profile the uprising of a rebellion army with aims of unseating the powerful Empire. Jyn is a fundamental player in the army and is their source of hope.
The trailer features Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) and Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). We're also given a brief glimpse of Darth Vader.
Set before Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, Rogue One launches into theaters December 16, 2016.
