
In its second weekend in theaters, the drama Regretting You starring Mckenna Grace and Allison Williams climbed up two spots to take first place, earning an extra $8.1 million for a two-week total of $27.5 million.
Black Phone 2 starring Mason Thames and Ethan Hawke held onto second place for another weekend, taking in an additional $8 million for a three-week total of $61.5 million.
The anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc (a sequel to the popular manga TV series) held onto third, earning an extra $6 million for a two-week total of $30.8 million.
The sci-fi film Bugonia landed in fourth place, taking in $4.8 million for a total of $5.8 million since its early limited release.
Rounding out the top five was Back to the Future 40th Anniversary starring Michael J. Fox. The re-release earned a tidy $4.7 million for a total of $221.7 million since its original release in 1985.
