In order to survive, Jack seeks out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that empowers whomever possesses it with total control over the seas.
Allied: In 1942 Casablanca during WWII, Max Vatan (Brad Pitt), a French-Canadian intelligence officer, meets French Resistance fighter Marianne Beausejour (Marion Cotillard), on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. They fall in love during their mission to kill a German official, and are later reunited in London. However, their relationship is threatened by the pressures of war, especially when Max begins to wonder if Marianne may be a Nazi spy.
Jackie: After the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline "Jackie" Kennedy (Natalie Portman) struggles with grief, trauma, and overwhelming media attention in the midst of an incredible tragedy that stunned all of America. This riveting biopic details the private moments between Jackie and her two small children, John Jr. and Caroline, as well as with her brother-in-law Robert (Peter Sarsgaard), LIFE journalist Theodore H. White (Billy Crudup), and a Catholic priest (John Hurt), as she attempts to uphold her husband's unforgettable legacy.
Get Out: Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) prepares to meet his girlfriend Rose's (Allison Williams) parents for the first time but is skeptical of the introduction because Rose, who's white, hasn't told her parents that he's black. When they arrive at the vast estate, Rose's parents (Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford) can't mask their discomfort at their daughter's choice of suitor and Chris begins to notice that all the African Americans in the town are acting strangely. He soon uncovers a twisted plot that may leave him at the mercy of the townsfolk.
Patriots Day: An account of the bravery of the police force during the events surrounding the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. The film focuses on Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis' (John Goodman) actions leading up to the bombing, the aftermath, and the manhunt of a terrorist. Sergeant Tommy Saunders (Mark Wahlberg) and his wife Carol Saunders (Michelle Monaghan) are two composite characters in the movie.
War for the Planet of the Apes: Highly intelligent Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his ape colony are engaged in a heated battle with power-hungry humans. At the loss of several apes, Caesar is enraged and vows to avenge his fallen primates. To do so, he knows he'll have to combat the leader of the humans, a merciless Colonel (Woody Harrelson). Whichever way the battle goes, the fate of apes and the future of planet Earth hang in the balance. The film is a direct follow-up to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
