All audience members attending the Oscars will need to show proof of vaccination, as well as two negative PCR tests, the Academy announced yesterday (February 17, 2022).
This is a change from the Feb. 9 announcement that proof of vaccination was not going to be required for nominees and guests.
Presenters and performers will not require proof of vaccination, but they will need to show two negative tests.
Masks will only be required to be worn by the guests at the Dolby Theatre who are seating in tighter seats, mostly at the back, while the seats at the front where nominees and their guests will be, have more room and the occupants of those seats will not have to wear masks.

Since I am triple vaccinated, I don’t mind your change of mandate. But I hope everyone has the same good sense.
