No less than three new movies debuted in the top five this weekend. Find out which ones made the grade -- and which ones stayed.
One Battle After Another starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a left-wing terrorist who's the single father of a daughter debuted at the top of the box office this weekend, earning a total of $22.4 million.
Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie starring Kristen Wiig as an eccentric cat lady debuted in second, taking in $13.7 million.
The top film for the past two weekends, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, dropped to third in its third week, earning an additional $7.1 million for a grand total of $118.2 million.
The Conjuring: Last Rites starring Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga dropped to fourth, scoring an extra $6.9 million for a four-week total of $161.5 million.
Rounding out the top five was the new horror film The Strangers: Chapter 2, which picks up the story of a terrified young woman (Madelaine Petsch) as she discovers the masked killers are not done with her. It debuted with a box office take of $5.9 million.
