Jurassic World Rebirth starring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey debuted at the top of the box office, taking in $91.5 million over the weekend for a total of $147.3 million due to its early release on Wednesday.
F1: The Movie starring Brad Pitt as a FORMULA 1 racer slid to second place this weekend, earning another $26 million for a two week total of $109.5 million.
How to Train Your Dragon starring Mason Thames as Hiccup and Gerard Butler as Chief Stoick the Vast dropped to third, taking in another $11 million for an impressive four-week total of $224 million.
Disney and Pixar's newest animated film, Elio, was in fourth place this weekend. About an 11-year-old with an active imagination, it added another $5.7 million for a three-week total of $55 million.
Rounding out the top five was 28 Years Later, earning an additional $4.6 million for a two-week total of $60.2 million.
