Joe Jonas filed for divorce from his wife, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner this week, and according to TMZ, it was because of an incriminating security camera video.
Several sources who have direct contact with Joe told TMZ: "Joe had access to a ring cam that he said captured Sophie saying and/or doing something that made him realize the marriage was over."
They didn't elaborate further, but apparently the marriage had been on shaky ground for several months. One source told TMZ: "She likes to party, he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles."
However, when Sophie was interviewed in 2020 via Zoom by Conan O'Brien for his talk show during the pandemic, Sophie said she was enjoying the solitude. She told him, "Yeah, I mean I'm an introvert. I'm a homebody. Just like, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me. I leave the house once a day anyway to walk my dogs and then that's it." She added, "Joe's like a, he's a real social butterfly. So, I struggle to kind of lock him down and have him just spend time with me."
They released a joint statement yesterday to their separate Instagram accounts that read: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

I liked this couple, as I liked Nick and Pryanka. I do not really know the lives of them, and reading the article was a surprise. Not much to say on this one. Off topic, I liked the Jonas brothers music separately. Example Joe Jonas...cake by the ocean, and Nick Jonas...jealous. I hope Nick and Pryanka are more solid as a couple. Seem like a good match, as I said earlier.
When you have kids, it can cause tension, stress. You can’t just give up on your kids future for your own selfish reasons. “I’m not happy.†Wow, surprising. Deal with it.
I thought I would add, that Sophie Turner on Game of Thrones (when she was on it), I read that her and the character that played Maisie, would be depressed together in a room by themselves, when they were done their scenes. I thought they seemed quiet then. So, a bit of a turn around. And...we do not know what the video was about on the security cam. (Or whatever this article said, without reading it again).
To 'wow'. Both should be there for the kids but from experience, staying together for the kids is a lousy reason. The kids will pick up on it. If they do not, I think it is still not healthy. I heard an actress say that she did not know her parents were unhappy, but she did not respect them for staying together, later. My opinion. I guess you have yours too. As someone once said...it is better to come from a broken home than to still be in one.
When we have children we have a duty to them to stay together. we give up too easy on our marriage. I only feel sad for the childrens, another broken home.
This is such terribly sad news. They haven't been married very long but I'm glad they're mature enough that they're placing their kids well being as the most important thing. The both see like very nice people, not to mention very talented, so i'm sorry they have to go through this.
I personally thick that JOE JONNA is doing the right thing no matter what the cause was cheating or what ever , it is a good thing that he found out now ,rather then later . The decision seemed to be mutal ,and they can both be good parents to their very young children . ijust hope that he didnot do anything stupid like leave the house and all his possesions,
She was obviously cheating on him (or picking her nose). Why is everybody avoiding the obvious? A girl of low morals (ie, slut), clearly.
If you Really Love someone, you don't just 'give up'. ESP. if you rushed the bring two innocent Souls into the World. WORK IT OUT! Oh, but it's Hollywood, so 'we can just find someone Else'. And the idea of 'family' further erodes and crumbles. NEXT TIME STAY SINGLE, and DON'T HAVE KIDS.
Obviously their marriage wasn't that wonderful if its ending in divorce after only 4 years. People do not know what marriage is anymore. People get married because they want to post pictures on Instagram. They want a wedding not a marriage. No one is committed anymore. People have 1 argument or a few disagreements and they give up right away. People get married too fast and to the wrong people for the wrong reasons. That's why the divorce rate is 50%, because people are not truly committed to the marriage and use divorce as a solution to an argument.
