The animated sequel Inside Out 2 from Disney/Pixar remained at the top for the second weekend in a row at the weekend box office, taking in an extra $100 million for an amazing two-week total of $355.2 million.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence held onto second place this weekend, earning another $18.7 million for a three-week haul of $146.9 million.
The only new movie to make the top five was The Bikeriders starring Austin Butler and Tom Hardy, which debuted in third place with $10 million.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes starring Owen Teague and Kevin Durand dropped a spot to fourth, garnering an additional $3.6 million for a seven-week take of $164.4 million. Click here to watch our interview with the stars.
Rounding out the top five was The Garfield Movie, starring the world-famous animated cat. It earned an extra $3.6 million for a five-week total of $85.1 million.
