The actress occupies the most screen time in the latest (and last) trailer for the film, which also boasts appearances by teenage mutants, such as Evan Peters' Quicksilver, and a tantalizing glimpse of claws at the end of the trailer, that fans of the franchise are familiar with.
Highly intense, the trailer features electrifying and dramatic action sequences centered around the rise of an ancient superpower. Apocalypse, portrayed by an unrecognizable Oscar Isaac in purple and blue latex, is the original mutant in Marvel's X-Men universe and seeks to establish a new world order after he wakes from a 1,000+ year nap. He recruits four faithful followers but encounters resistance from the X-Men, who recognize the danger in his plan and aim to thwart his treacherous mission.
The action-adventure is helmed by Bryan Singer and co-stars James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Olivia Munn, Rose Byrne, Michael Fassbender and Sophie Turner.
It tears into theaters on May 27, 2016.
