Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire held the top spot at the box office, garnering an additional $31.7 million for a two-week total of $135 million. Click here to read our review.
Monkey Man starring Dev Patel as a young man living in an underground fight ring who settles scores with the men who took everything from him, debuted in second this weekend, earning $10.1 million.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire moved to third, taking in an extra $9 million for a three-week total of $88.9 million. Click here to read our review.
The First Omen, about a young woman who encounters a darkness threatening to bring about the evil incarnate, took fourth place on its opening weekend at the box office, debuting with $8.4 million.
Rounding out the top five was Kung Fu Panda 4 starring Jack Black. It earned an additional $7.9 million for a five-week total of $166 million.
