The 97th Academy Awards are less than a month away and the first group of presenters have been unveiled.
As is tradition, last year's winners in the acting categories will return to the stage to announce the new group of recipients. Executive producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan revealed that Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr. and Da'Vine Joy Randolph will present the respective 2025 Oscars for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Supporting Actress.
Murphy won Best Actor for his role as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer. Stone won Best Actress for playing Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos' Poor Things. Downey Jr. won Best Supporting Actor for Lewis Strauss in Oppenheimer. Randolph won Best Supporting Actress as Mary Lamb in Alexander Payne's The Holdovers.
More presenters will be announced by the Academy in the coming weeks.
The Oscars are set to air on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood with Conan O'Brien set to host. The red-carpet coverage is set to start at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT, with the main show set to begin at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. ~Ryan Donahue
