Gru and the Minions continue to dominate the weekend box office, while two new movies debut in the top five.
Despicable Me 4 starring the voice of Steve Carell held onto first place at the weekend box office, earning an additional $43.6 million for a two-week domestic total of $210 million.
The horror movie Longlegs, starring Maika Monroe as an FBI agent and Nicolas Cage as a serial killer, blew past expectations with a phenomenal $22.4 million, marking indie distributor Neon's biggest opening ever.
Inside Out 2 slipped one spot to third place, taking in another $20 million for an outstanding five-week domestic haul of $571.8 million.
A Quiet Place: Day One starring Lupita Nyong'o as a woman caught in an alien invasion in NYC took in another $11.4 million for a three-week domestic total of $115.8 million. Click here to read our review.
Rounding out the top five was Fly Me to the Moon starring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, earning $9.4 million in its opening weekend.
