A new trailer for the film just fired its way onto the web and showcases plenty of gunplay in addition to a rising body count.
The film follows bounty hunter Sam Chisholm (Denzel Washington) who's commissioned by Emma Cullen (Haley Bennett) to exact revenge on ruthless industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard), who killed her husband and who is oppressing her small town.
Sam assembles a gaggle of misfits to confront Bartholomew and his cronies. The team of fighters and desperadoes includes Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D'Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier).
True Detective writer-creator Nic Pizzolatto penned the screenplay with Richard Wenk.
The iconic 1960 film was based on Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. Both Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight and Adam Sandler's The Ridiculous 6 are recent reimaginings of the original source material.
The Magnificent Seven launches into theaters September 23, 2016.
Vincent D'Onofrio looks different.
Oh goody, remakes are a rare commodity these days...
Does anyone even care about Westerns anymore?! I don't get it.
A remake of a remake. It's like auto-cannibalism.
I hate Denzel. Since he said he hates being famous, why doesn't he donate his money to poor people and go live in a hut somewhere far away?
Thanks for helping me to see things in a dienerfft light. http://mjezsowved.com rbzxlx [link=http://oeefrm.com]oeefrm[/link]
