This weekend, one new movie made it into the top five at the box office, but it didn't manage to dethrone Deadpool & Wolverine, which had a record-breaking debut last week as the sixth-largest opening of all time and the biggest opening for an R-rated movie.
Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman remained at the top of the box office, taking in another $97 million for an amazing two-week haul of $395.6 million.
Twisters starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell held onto second place, earning an extra $22.7 million for a three-week total of $195.6 million.
The top-ranked new entry of the weekend was M. Night Shyamalan's new thriller Trap starring Josh Hartnett, which debuted with $15.6 million.
Despicable Me 4 starring the voice of Steve Carell moved down a spot to fourth, taking in an additional $6.7 million for a five-week domestic total of $313.9 million.
Rounding out the top five was Inside Out 2, earning another $6.7 million for an impressive eight-week domestic haul of $626.9 million.
