The action/comedy Deadpool & Wolverine starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman topped the box office, taking in an astounding $211.4 million in its debut weekend.
Last weekend's champ, Twisters starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell, is still going strong in second, earning another $35 million for a two-week total of $154.6 million.
Despicable Me 4 starring the voice of Steve Carell dropped a spot to third place, taking in an extra $14.6 million for a four-week domestic total of $291.4 million.
Inside Out 2 dropped a spot to fourth, earning another $8.6 million for an incredible seven-week domestic haul of $613.7 million.
Rounding out the top five at the box office was the horror movie Longlegs, starring Maika Monroe as an FBI agent and Nicolas Cage as a serial killer. It took in an additional $6.8 million for a three-week total of $58.6 million.
