Civil War, a futuristic tale of America at war with itself, debuted as the box office champion this weekend, taking in $25.7 million.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire bumped down a spot to second, garnering an additional $15.4 million for a three-week total of $157.9 million. Click here to read our review.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire moved to third, taking in an extra $5.8 million for a four-week total of $96.9 million. Click here to read our review.
Kung Fu Panda 4 starring Jack Black took fourth place, earning an additional $5.5 million, for a six-week total of $173.6 million.
Rounding out the top five was Dune: Part Two starring Timothée Chalamet. It earned an additional $4.3 million for a seven-week total of $272.1 million.
