Avatar: The Way of Water took the top spot at the box office again this weekend for the sixth time in a row. Check it out, plus the rest of the films that joined it in the top 5 at the weekend box office.
Avatar: The Way of Water starring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reeled in an additional $19.7 million for a whopping domestic total of $598 million.
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish climbed back up a spot to second place. The animated film, starring the voice of Antonio Banderas in the title role, took in an extra $11.5 million, earning a five-week total of $126.5 million.
M3GAN, starring Allison Williams as a toy-company roboticist who builds an AI doll for her niece, dropped to third place with $9.8 million for a three-week total of $73.3 million.
The new thriller Missing starring Storm Reid landed in fourth place with $9.3 million in its debut weekend.
Rounding out the top five was A Man Called Otto starring Tom Hanks, pulling in an extra $9 million and upping its total take to $35.3 million. ~Alexandra Heilbron
