
Two new movies debuted in the top five this weekend, but Avatar: Fire and Ash remained at the top of the weekend box office for the second time in a row, taking in an extra $64 million for a total of $217.7 million.
Leaping back up to second place was Zootopia 2, featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, with an additional $20 million for an incredible four-week total of $321.4 million.
Marty Supreme, starring Timothée Chalamet as a petulant table tennis hopeful, earned $17.5 million for a total of $28.3 million since opening on Christmas day.
The intriguing thriller The Housemaid starring Sydney Sweeney dropped a spot to fourth with $15.4 million for a two-week total of $46.5 million.
Rounding out the top five was the comedy film Anaconda starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, earning $14.6 million for a total of $23.7 million since it opened on December 25th.
