Four new movies debuted in the top five this weekend, including Avatar: Fire and Ash, which topped the weekend box office, taking in $89.2 million.
David, the animated movie about the bible story David and Goliath, debuted in second place with $22 million.
The intriguing thriller The Housemaid starring Sydney Sweeney debuted in third place, with $19 million.
The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants debuted in fourth, earning a total of $15.6 million.
Rounding out the top five was Zootopia 2 featuring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, earning an extra $14.8 million for an amazing four-week total of $283.2 million.
