Two new movies debuted at the top of the weekend box office, making their way into the Top 5.
Taking over the lead was A Minecraft Movie starring Jason Momoa, which opened with an impressive $157 million -- the largest opening weekend of 2025 to date.
A Working Man starring Jason Statham as a black ops agent who comes out of retirement dropped to second place, earning an extra $7.3 million for a two-week total of $27.8 million.
Debuting in third place was The Chosen: Last Supper Part 2, which earned $7 million, slightly behind last weekend's The Chosen: Last Supper Part 1, which debuted to a series best of $11.5 million.
Disney’s Snow White starring Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler dropped two spots to fourth this weekend, taking in another $6 million for a three-week total of $77.5 million.
Rounding out the top five was the horror movie The Woman in the Yard, about a single mother with children who are frightened by a spectral woman who appears in their yard. It earned an additional $4.5 million for a two-week total of $16.6 million.
