As decorated NYPD cops Joseph Grusinsky (Mark Wahlberg) and his father, Burt (Robert Duvall), prepare to take on a newly powerful and dangerous Russian drug dealer, they never thought they would be turning to Joseph's black sheep brother, Bobby (Joaquin Phoenix).
