Washington Merry-Go-Round (1932)
Button Gwinett Brown (Lee Tracy) has just been elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. He refuses bribes and vows to fight government corruption, but he must deal with powerful businessman Edward Norton (Alan Dinehart). Already, Norton wants to enlist Brown's aid to help Prohibition bootleggers.
Norton is also manipulating hapless Senator Wylie (Walter Connolly) and chasing after his daughter, Alice (Constance Cummings). But Alice and Brown may have more in common.
