Call it the two faces of Jackie Chan as he plays both John Ma and Boomer, two brothers separated at birth who’ve led very different lives. Boomer is a street-savvy martial arts master whose chops are all delivered to someone else’s body while John Ma can play some pretty mean chops on just about any musical instrument.
Gangsters mistake John Ma for Boomer and force him to drive their getaway car while the street-smart Boomer is left to conduct a Philharmonic Orchestra. As they say in the old chewing gum commercial -- "it’s two Chans, two Chans, two Chans in one."
