Juliette, Florence and Marie, best friends since childhood, each have a crisis as they approach their late thirties. Dumped by her latest boyfriend just as she was about to move in with him, Juliette, a lawyer, fills her emotional vacuum by going on shopping sprees.

An overworked advertising agency writer, Florence is growing apart from the father of her son, a businessman who cheats on her. For her part, Marie, a doctor in a private clinic in the Parisian suburbs, grows disillusioned as she finds herself supporting her artist-painter husband and their two children.
