Set in the Jewish settlement on the West Bank, Menachem (Avni) is the handsome commander of an army unit composed entirely of Orthodox members from the Hebrew school run by Rabbi Meltzer (Dayan). His best friend is Pini (Alterman), Rabbi Meltzer's prized pupil. Like all the rabbi's students, these men have been taught to believe in the Jewish dream of praying at Temple Mount, a Jerusalem site sacred to both Jews and Muslims, but also the home of an Arab mosque.
Trouble begins when the rabbi wants his daughter Michal (Tinkerbell) to marry Pini, whom she rejects in favor of Menachem. Dejected, Pini takes the rabbi's words about the Jewish dream literally -- and sets into motion a scheme that implicates not only himself, but also Rabbi Meltzer, Michal, and most of all, Menachem.
