While on vacation in Martinique, Regina Lambert (Newton) meets the charming Joshua Peters (Wahlberg), as she considers divorcing her husband, Charlie (Dillane). Upon returning to Paris, she discovers Charlie has been murdered, and that both her apartment and bank account have been emptied. While trying to piece together the pieces of the puzzle, she finds herself in danger when Charlie's old acquaintances come looking for some missing cash. When Joshua arrives, she looks to him for help but grows suspicious of his motives as she learns disturbing information about him.
