While the media almost constantly discusses the tensions between Palestinians and Israelis, there are few who can accurately understand the countless stakes of this conflict. What are its sources, roots, causes? THE SETTLERS goes to the heart of the problem by telling the story of Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank. From the partition of Palestine in 1947 to the Oslo Accords in 1993. Not to mention the Six-Day War, which triggered the settlement of thousands of nationals in these territories, as well as the oil crisis and the Intifada of 1987.
All the twists and turns of this complex and violent history are reviewed by its main observers and settlers, whether religious or secular, either recently arrived or settled for a long time.
