Delphine Lamarre is torn between studying medicine at university, as per her parents' wishes, and her passion for dance, of which they disapprove. When she hears that a renowned New York choreographer is holding auditions, Delphine questions her path in life. Her best friend Julianne's ex-boyfriend, Marc Painchaud, who happens to be a talented dancer himself, confirms her potential. Unbeknownst to her parents, and supported by her grandmother who understands and encourages the need for freedom, Delphine chooses dance. And possibly love, as her feelings for Marc are not just professional. But will a relationship with Marc destroy her friendship with Julianne?
