The Puffy Chair
Josh (Mark Duplass) is a 20-something slacker who buys a vintage
recliner that reminds him of the one from his childhood living room. He
plans to drive cross-country to deliver the chair as a gift for his dad’s
birthday.
Things immediately get complicated when his longtime girlfriend Emily (Kathryn Aselton) also wants to come along, especially since she likes to have those “where we stand” conversations. Then his neo-hippy brother (Rhett Wilkins) decides to join in. That makes three people and one big chair in a too-small van. Before the trip’s end, at least one has to go.
