In an apartment building in Seoul, a pawnbroker makes friends with a little neighbor girl whose mother works as a dancer in a nightclub. Things take a dramatic turn when the mother, an impulsive drug addict, thwarts a drug deal. Furious, the Chinese gangsters kill her and kidnap her daughter. The pawnbroker, who was once an elite secret government agent, risks his life in order to save the little girl.
