On the deck of the sailing ship SEDNA IV, screenwriter/biologist Jean Lemire and his crew undertake a perilous expedition: to cross the Arctic from east to west to take in the real state of the Far North and the effects of the climatic changes on the Inuit populations of the area.
To do this, the SEDNA IV steers towards the legendary Northwest passage that many navigators tried in vain to find for a half-century, in order to connect Europe to Asia by the ice-barrier of North.
