yes, there was high kwakiutl content - it was in fact an amalgamation of many of the nations existing on the west coast - there are so many and they are each unique. thanks for asking!

Just bad and stupid. Please, Canadian directors should have more than "passion" to be able to make a film. Like brains and talent.

The Girl Who Married a Ghost was a really good movie. I am a Kwakiutl Native, but I never grew up with the Kwakiutl ways. I know some of the arts and legends, and I was wondering if this had anything to do with Kwakiutl Natives? There was some things in the movie that indicated it might be Kwakiutl. Like the Paintings they were doing, or the Shirt that the father was wearing that had a double headed Sisiutl on it, and the Dzonokwa dancer there was. If some one could tell me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. PS AWSOME MOVIE!

It was more like watching Art being performed than watching a movie. Thankyou!
