The theories expressed were hard not to consider. Truly, how much do we really know of Jesus and his life?

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

I LOVED IT, I THOUGHT IT WAS A WELL ACTED INTRIGUING MOVIE.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

i thought it was a great movie, like a modern time indiana jones with secrets and riddles that leave you wanting more.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

I had thought that the movie was a great success. I had not read the book before seeing the movie and I would still say that it was very well made and acted through Tom Hanks.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

Best movie I have seen in a long time.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

Wish I would have seen the movie first & then read the book. Very similar! Still entertaining.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

I thought it lacked details in the book that made the book so interesting in the first place. Also Tom Hanks was too bog for the role of Robert Landon.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

I was far fetch but really good.

User review rating: 0 July 20, 2006

A good entertaining film. Unfortunately, no movie could ever live up to the hype around the book. It was doomed from the get-go. The book is rather over-rated. I thought it was quite good, but will wait for the DVD to see it a second time.

i thought it was great

User review rating: 0 July 19, 2006

Very well done. I really enjoyed the novel and the movie did not disappoint me given that I went into it with a preconceived notion of how it would be like. I am not sure about the casting for Robert Langdon though, but great acting from Tom Hanks nonetheless.

This movie was very entertaining and it stayed true to the book. A good way to spend an evening.

User review rating: 0 July 19, 2006

Not a bad way to kill a couple of hours but if you have the time skip the movie, read the book.

I thoroughly enjoed the DaVinci Code. I had read the book when it first came out and thought they did a terrific job sticking to the plot. Great acting super story, lots of suspense and just the right length. A must see this summer!

User review rating: 0 July 18, 2006

I thought it was very good. They took the basic story of the movie and filmed it very well, it was like watching the book come to life.

User review rating: 0 July 18, 2006

Da Vinci Code kept me entertained the whole movie. Loved it!

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

well written and acted. It was belivable!

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

I read the book first and was impressed. Even though it did not follow the book completely it was well done and it got the message across.

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

I thought Paul Bettany played his role of Silas extremely well! The music score for the movie was incredible. overall, I liked the movie, mainly because of Tom Hanks and Jean Reno.

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

VERY ENTERTAINING

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

Loved it. The actor playing Sophie was excellent. Loved the fact she was a relative unknown. Tom Hanks acted OK just not sure about casting with him. But overall very well done

INTERESTING THOUGHTS ON CHRISTIANITY

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

The movie did not do the book justice. The book was a thrilling page turner that kept the suspense going with every word. The movie was long, boring, and uneventful.

User review rating: 0 July 17, 2006

Interesting theory......

User review rating: 0 July 16, 2006

The Movie was gripping. It helped to capture the essence of the book from the beginning to the end. A thought provoking movie and book.

User review rating: 0 July 16, 2006

Bloody awsome. Brought the book completely to llife as I imagined it

User review rating: 0 July 16, 2006

Too long. Boring.

User review rating: 0 July 16, 2006

The movie suffers from the same problems as the book. Stale, cardboard, George Lucas-style dialogue and complete lack of character development. We learn little about Robert Langdon beyond his unexplained fear of enclosed spaces and his "symbology" degree and so the star power of Tom Hanks overpowers the character and you feel like you`re watching Tom Hanks solve the "Da Vinci Code". Lets not forget the idiocy of a professioanl cryptologist failing to crack an anagram (the one that Langdon breaks). Absolutely idiotic and over rated.

Riveting story but not quite the same as the book.
