Vidal (Alfredo Castro), Silva (Jaime Vadell), Ortega (Alejandro Goic), and Ramirez (Alejandro Sieveking) are priests who have been exiled to a seaside monastery after committing various transgressions. They are looked after by the easygoing Sister Monica (Antonia Zegers)and spend their days watching TV, walking along the beach, and betting on greyhound races.
Their idyllic life begins to change, however, when Father Lazcano (Jose Soza) joins them. Soon after Lazcano arrives, a stranger appears outside the monastery and accuses Lazcano of having molested him when he was a child. Lazcano commits suicide soon after. The Church, hoping to quell a scandal, sends Father Garcia (Marcelo Alonso) to the monastery to question and counsel the exiled Fathers.
