The Bounty (1984)
Lieutenant William Bligh (Anthony Hopkins) sets out from Great Britain in December 1787 on a sailing expedition to Tahiti and eventually around the globe. However, the cruelty he shows on board leads to a mutiny, in which Fletcher Christian (Mel Gibson) takes control of the ship.
Bligh and the sailors who remain loyal to him are set adrift in a tiny lifeboat.
