Maria Pellegrini is on the run from a relationship with an older, distinguished and very dangerous European “businessman” named Sergei Dalkarov. She flees to her uncle Sal in Canada, hoping for a safe haven. But Maria knows too much, and Dalkarov sends a Colombian hit man, Alejandro, after her with instructions to bring Maria back dead or alive. Terrified, Maria reaches out to Sal’s best friend, Murphy, a cop.
Murphy has his own problems. He’s been ordered to investigate Sal and has to do it with his bumbling partner, Renfield. When Alejandro arrives in town, Murphy discovers his problems have only begun. Murphy and Renfield have to confront a world-class contract killer, and in a battle of wits against Alejandro, they’re going in unarmed.
