A look at the life and work of portrait photographer Elsa Dorfman. In 1980, at the age of 28, she found her medium: the rare photographic format of the larger-than-life Polaroid Land 20x24 camera. Over the next 35 years she would go on to capture a wide range of families, Beat poets, musicians (including Bob Dylan), and Harvard notables who visited her studio in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
