The Amati Girls
While trying to help their recently widowed mother (Leachman) cope and get on with her
life, four adult sisters (Ruehl, Young, Manoff and Knight) learn what is missing in their
own lives. The lessons they learn affect not only each of them, but their immediate
families as well. Having shared these difficult times and a terrible loss, the sisters
come to rely upon each other.
