Standing almost alone in the great Southern Ocean, South Georgia is a majestic, barren and remote land. Yet miraculously, in the spring and summer months, this small island plays host to some of the largest concentrations of animals anywhere on Earth.
This is a story of these vast animal cities - penguins, albatrosses, fur seals and elephant seals - and of the order that lies beneath their seeming chaos.
