This star wars movie will make people who never liked star wars love it.
TOTALLY AWSOME! GO GO LUCAS! GO GO LUCAS!
Absolutely phenomenal, it erases the shame of the Phatom Menace.
It is the best star wars movie ever.
Although it was a very good movie, special effects wise and such..the dialog was very cheesy.
The movie is amazing, if you plan to see it try to see it on an IMAX screen. Obi-Wan looks amazing.
STAR WARS111 WAS BY FAR THE BEST OF ALL THE STAR WARS MOVIES ,IT MADE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU WERE RIGHT IN THE MOVIE. IT WAS FABULOUS,I WILL SEE IT AGAIN,MAN TIMES.LOTS OF ACTION,GREAT ACTING.EVERY THING WAS GREAT ABOUT IT.
way better than I expected...Natalie Portman was the weakest link but the rest more than made up for it.
Best of all three!!!! Seeing the transformation and motives behind the change in Anikin was an eye opening experience to the character. May the Force Be with you.
The movie was a wonderful conclusion to the Star Wars epic. Not long and drawn out as the previous episode. The story came full circle, the ending of Episode III shows us how it all begins in Episode IV. I took my 11 year ols son, and he truly loved it, and never took his eyes from the screen.
For those who gave it a 5, your standards are not very high. Although the special effects were pretty good i found myself wishing the movie ended sooner then later. Thinking back to the first trilogy and the newer three all had moments where i wouldn`t mind getting up to use the bathroom. If timed right to advoid the boring (too much dialogue) this movie would be better.
Really there`s too many things going on. It becomes overkill fast.
too much dialogue, the acting was lacking which didn`t let you believe the characters. I don`t think we have any `Harrison Ford` type actors come out of this movie.
Just seen it last night, very good show, cmon people just enjoy it for what it is, a excellent well done series, alot of work went into the making of this series,,that is why I do not like critics, it is easy for them to sit back and judge, lets see what they can do or anyone else who sits back and critize, the work of other people. Anyways very good show, alot of questions answered.
great!! Action packed, their best ever
"Sith" is the best of the last three films, but that is damning it with faint praise. Like Darth Vader himself, it is a soul-less journey into darkness that fails to deliver any real emotion. There is lots of `eye candy` and Ewan McGregor does his best with a storyline lacking any real twists and turns. Worth watching, but you`ll want to go home and watch the original three films for a really satisfying movie experience.
some lame dialogue, but over all a great movie and definetely a great bridge to Episode IV
George Lucas` bad writing made all of the character`s lines sound like exposition. The acting was terrible, but that was only because the actors had to deal with hokey writing. The first half of the film was dull, dull, dull, but near the ending things got more fun, as Lucas threw in some environments that could only be recognized as classic Star Wars- Lars` Homestead, the white interiors of ships, etc. I really wanted this movie to turn out okay, but it was only a bit of an improvement from AOTC and TPM. But if you concentrate really, really hard, you can overlook the bad acting and writing and enjoy the movie.
I thought it was great. I remember watching the first star wars and in a sense when the credits started to roll on this one it was bittersweet, the end of an era in a way. I thought it had great action and was done well overall. "Anakin" was brilliant and I think those who didn`t like it.. .wayyyy to over analyze everything... it is sci fi people... it is supposed to click your imagination!!!!
Amazing movie. Very powerful and it explained a lot as to why Anakin chose the dark side and how he was tricked by the Emperor. Very emotional to see it all come together at last.
Just overkill. Bad dialogue and too much CGI
Just another corporate ploy to drive up Mr. Lucas` egocentric fill and give hime more money
Star Wars is way better than lotr.
I think people writing these reviews should go to school and learn how to spell. How sad! Movie was good by the way........
Amazing movie! Great for fans, and non-fans alike. Great special FX, and also very emotional. Definetly, *the* best of the first three movies.
R2 stole the show! Other than that it was pretty much depressing. But I like the fact that Love was what brought Vader to the dark side, the story line was well executed, definitely worth seeing.
A great ending to a great trilogy!!!
I`m sorry to say I was let down. I`m a hugh fan and I could hardly wait to see it. But after it was over I left the movie feeling let down. I didn`t like how the Jedi were killed, they should have had it some of the Jedi Masters came back and faced Vader. I wanted to see Vader in action with his lightsaber. Don`t get me wrong I liked the movie and I will go and see it again, but!!!!! Truly their should be a movie made to show Vader hunting down the Jedi, but we all know thats not going to happen.
Wow! So much to take in - I`ll have to see it 3-4 more times to get more of the details and nuances. The last half-hour of the film brings all the rest of them together.
I thought the movie was average. It had moments of great intense scenes but mixed with some scenes that were too long and without any emotion. I found myself not caring about Anakin and the turmoil he was going through. I was upset with the Padme storyline as it does not hold true to the original Star Wars when Luke and Leah are talking about their mother
the best of the first 3 movies..but not as good as the originals
"Revenge of the Sith" succesfully captures the essence and atmostphere that made the original trilogy so popular. In Padme, one can see a part of Leia, and in the good of Anakin Skywalker, a part of Luke. Ewan McGregor brillantly portrays the wisdom and wit present in the character that Alec Guiness brought to life decades ago. Although the dialogue in "Revenge of the Sith" is a bit thin, the movie, with its amazing battle scenes, is nonetheless a grand finale to the greatest saga in the history of movie-making.
was very good
Despite all it`s flaws and there were a lot of them (clunky dialogue, telegraphed plot twists, high meleodrama, etc) Ep III had some incredibly cool special effects, and the plot was much tighter than the previous two.
I personally thought it was a horrible film. The first two episodes let me down too - as I love the old three. But this one was a new kind of something, that`s for sure. I was already checking my watch by the first half hour, and too many times I rolled my eyes at the dialogue. I don`t think George Lucas should write dialogue - at all. At one point in a scene with Padme and Anakin I thought "Oh Natalie, for shame." I love the actors in this movie, but they weren`t given anything to work with. At least she proved her worth with Closer and Garden State, because if Star Wars was all she had on her resume, boo! Just too often I was reminded of th
Really action packed a must see!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great, overdue....
Way Better Than the Last 2 Star Wars by far
this movie was better than Men In Black II.. and i thought no movie would ever surpass that. George Lucas makes great movies, Starwars, Men In Black, Batman series, Indiana Jones..etc.
Wowzers!!!that is a spectacular movie; and when I write spectacular I mean more Tact than Spec!!!
Star Wars III was a good made movie. People who said in these comments that it was bad because it was predictable... you`re dumb then, because EVERYONE knew what was going to happen in the movie. And who ever said in the comments that bad dialogue, bad something else = bad director, u`re pathetic also because Lucas is a billionaire now and you`re not, so i guess u`re the more of a failure at life... the movie was AMAZING, graphics AMAZING, fight and coreography was AWESOME. Everyone who watches it should be glad that they got to see a movie which cost close to a billion or over a billion to make.
WELL- Want my opinion.. here it is... It all depends on who you are i guess - and I am 34- so I seen and remember all the movies. I am not a fanatic or anything like that. Honestly.. I say out of 5 stars, a five. Four if you are a perfectionist and dont believe in 5. The origional series if we all remember.... had some things not perfect either... but we have become biased over the years for the incredible saga. Take this one and it is a master piece- really. Sit- enjoy- be amazed and what an incredible job of tying it altogether. Makes you want to watch all 6 in a row now and live the entirety of the saga too. Good Job Lucas.. alo
Amazing... for those people said it was predicatable... what were you expecting? Epsiodes 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 are out already. Did you want Annakin to some how become good at the end?
SO EMOTIONAL. I enjoyed every minute. I mean come on, it`s STAR WARS. There`s never going to be anything like this ever again. Way cool!!!
Totally awesome movie. Best movie of the year.
Too much time spent on Grievous, not nearly enough time spent on Yoda. (espeically in the senate) Ian McDiarmids performance was subtle yet vile and cunning. Hayden Christensen took acting lessons from a pile of lumber. Spectaular Effects all the way. An incredible popcorn flick.
HORRIBLE DIALOGUE...ONLY FOR BLIND STAR WARS FANS
I`m not really a star wars fan, but i had to see what al lthe hype was about. This film was neither good or bad. Lucas has a great imagination, the special effects were fantastic, but weak dialouge, overall, so so movie.
to all the people who put 1 or 2 must be blind, you have to say this movie was amazing and decent, the action is way better then the other films, and that answer all the questions people are asking, must see movie and must owned movie cant wait
I loved it a starwars fan will love it and even if you don`t i think you will like it. a peice of art.
