One of worst movies in recent memory. Too long, full of clichés, acting is terrible in all main characters. Save your time and money.
Best Movie I have seen this year.
AWESOME MOVIE, YOU WON'T MADE A MISTAKE OF WATCHING THIS MOVIE.
EXCELLENT MOVIE MADE. NO DOUBT AT ALL
James Bond will never let you down, big budget, lot of action, attractive story, beautiful girls.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so GOOOOOOOOOD! love it and watched it twice.
lot of action, excellent movie, big budget spent to make this one happen.
one of the best James Bond movie so far
how anybody could find this movie boring or dull is beyond me! I really liked it, especially at the Imax. Don't miss it if you're a Bond fan!
The first 10 - 15 minutes are the best part of the movie by far. It's so unfortunate that a Bond film with such great potential failed so miserably. The action was never quite took off, the fight scenes were basic and boring. There are some great little bits scattered throughout, but never achieving those spectacular moments from Bond films of the past. This is another example of the trailers of a movie being better than the movie itself. Waste of time and money to see in theater, just wait for the Blue-ray to add it to your collection.
Casino Royale was excellent, Quantum of Solace was good, this one was stitched together mostly from Pierce Brosnan's "The World is not Enough" including some of the corny and exaggerated gadgets. Very poor and boring story, my wife and I found ourselves bored and uninterested.
Brilliantly done. This Bond actually respects women and as a woman you don't have to feel like cringing while watching the movie. There is indeed a plot and old Bond persona is tied into this movie for movie fans and book fans alike. Of course there is some 'cheese' but there always has been in Bond films. So if it's not your cup of tea just don't go.
2nd worst bond movie yet
This movie was OK, not a waste of time at all, but compared to Skyfall, not even close. It was worth the money, and I enjoyed it. The theme song was really really really BAD!! If you can get passed that, it was pretty good. I would go and see it again!!
I am sorry but this was likely one of the worst bond movies I have seen. The plot was lame and the editing of scenes and tying it all together was horrible. I was yawning and bored... Daniel Craig just did not seem to be into his role. Wait for Netflix and don't waste your money on the DVD.
Most definately not a great James Bond movie for Craig and perhaps he knows it and tells the media he calls it quits. The editing was not great as the story moved all over the place and often I could not figure out how we got from A to B. I really love the James Bond franchise but would have to put this in the same category as a Roger Moore film... good but not really that great at all. Pretty disappointed after waiting for so long.
I loved it!
Very weak. Worse Bond movie ever.
Best thriller movie of the year!
terrible movie
Complete waste of your time. Worst James Bond ever
love Spectre saw it twice
A lot of references to Sean Connery era Bond Films. If you have never seen Connery as Bond see Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, and Diamonds Are Forever, before seeing Spectre, you will appreciate Spectre more! You will understand the references that this film was inspired by. Helps one understand the whole Spectre organization.
Not one of my favourite Bond movies. Weak plot.
What a snoozer. The few action scenes were good - too bad the rest of the movie was so incredibly BORING. And the Bond girl, besides being a bad actress, was the most unsexy woman imaginable. I can see why Daniel Craig has been panning his own movie. This sucked!
I enjoyed this movie. I liked the opening chase scene, and the other chase/confrontations with the plane and on the train, but have to be honest that Christoff Waltz, as the leading villain just didn't do it for me. I did enjoy the performance of Mr. White, who has been in several Bond movies. The female trysts were also not memorable, either because of their lines, or the lack of their character development, (not feisty enough). I did like the movie enough to see it a second time.
Worst bond movie ever made.
Was a very bad story and action wasn't stimulating. I was actually getting sleepy watching it. Was very disappointed in the acting
My wife and I are big fans of the Bond franchise. Boring, uninteresting, dull film. The film lacks any excitement. My wife fell asleep twice during the movie. I contemplated leaving - there didn't seem to be any hope that the film would improve, and, it didn't. What a disappointment. Oh well, at least Star Wars is returning in December.
Too long. Other than that this movie is entertaining and fun. I enjoyed it!
Good movie, I love all the Bond movies. Although I wish Daniel Craig was more into the character, like really loving the character, just need a bit more humour from him, but overall he his the best man for the job. Some scene could have been better, like (blend clips that happen in the past like the girl when she sees pictures of her as a child or when blofeld survive the blast...they could have added text to say this is 12 or 24 hours later....instead of making the audience think about it. I could think a lot more to make it more like real Bond action movie. Not complaining too much, I love the movie, it's worth seeing it.
The plot made no sense. Clearly Craig is getting too old and they had to pump out one last movie to grab some money.
Good action. Ties the last three Bond shows together well. Nice ending for the current Bond.
i would give it 3.5 stars, was not as goodas skyfall
Worst Bond movie ever. Boring, boring, boring. Lame script and dreadful action scenes.
It was a nice ,kind of what people expect from it, kind of movie. solid 4.
Terrific movie, acting, action story line and music...
Disappointed! Suppose a good, big budget movie ruined by the fussy ending. Put it this way, this guy and his organization is a terror threatened to the world, he has been continuously making your life miserable, killing all of your loved ones... there are million reasons to get rid of him plus a license to kill. But in the end you let him loose and spare his life... It is so lame
I think people are being to generous with this one, doesn't live up to the trailer that makes it look that great as it a far cry of a good bond movie or a film in general, it fails in so many ways as I though it would be a amazing film following the one of the best bond films as it also being on my top twenty personal favorite film of all time sky fall, as I wouldn't stop from anybody seeing it from my review but don't be surprise if your deeply disappointed seeing it, as for myself I should of know better when their a amazing 007 movie the next being done it becomes a major disappointment plus is done very poorly and that is too bad too sad
well done, Craig alt least keep is discupt out of the shot. I twas reasonably belieable without tool many laws of physics defiling the believable. I kind of like it inspit of itself.
Great opening sequence, then sort of muddles along. Nice to see "Q" in the film a bit more than normal. Still decent enough & better than most other action movies
I loved the action and the music.
Tough to compete with Skyfall. Skyfall did over a billion at box office. This movie was entertaining but falls a bit shy of my expectations. A few holes in plot. Not a lot of action. The villain was not in film much and was boring. Not a typical bond adventure. I still think Daniel Craig is a great actor for Bond. Hopefully he is back for one more to go out on a good note! 3 stars.
My review rating got cut off short. Continuing ..., most theatre goers leaving this movie seemed to enjoy it as their chatting & facial expressions indicated. Don't take Bond movies too seriously as some that may have given it a low rating here have. Just expect the unexpected non stop action scenes as having a entertainment value well worth seeing.
5 stars for first 15 min, then 3 stars for the rest of the movie. I loved the Mexico City Day of the Dead in the Zocalo, fabulous! Bond is now looking like a killer, all the time. Lots of throw backs to a lot of the early Connery days, Bloughfeld included, so worth the watch. Somehow it missed the 'epic' title. I love the Bond theme music and I would have enjoyed more if music played a bigger role in movie.
Daniel Craig walked through the role--looked bored. Loved the scenery.
I think Skyfall was the best so far. This falls flat. Seriously after getting an a$$-whooping on the train, "what do you want to do next?" Cut scene to kissing in a room on a train? And seriously they trashed the train, where was everybody and why didn't someone stop the train..grrr. There was too much cheese and plot holes in this one along with choppy directing. Bond still kicks a$$ but this could have been so much better. Oh and extremely similar to the latest Mission Impossible non?
This was not the best James Bond movie nor was it the worst. It was average. There were some amazing action scene like when they where in Mexico but the movie was slow in several places and seemed to jumped from place to place. It was good in the sense that it tied all the previous Daniel Craig movie together cumulating in the meeting of James Bond arch enemy (a nod to Sean Connery James Bond movie of the past). I would love to have seen a more intense car chase (like the one in Quantum of Solace) however it looked like they where just drag racing in Rome. In any case it was average, but Daniel Craig pulled it off again...hopefully he does another James Bond movie.
Buuuu! The worst 007 movie! don't spend your money "/
Best Bond song?? You serious? I couldn't tell if the voice singing was a male or female torture victim.
